The Ocar Saab 96 isn't really made for serious racing, but more a display model. The resin body makes the car top heavy and crashing will cause more or less serious damage.
The body looks pretty nice. The front section is quite ok, but the rear section is not quite there.
Above and below: Test fitting the axels, no chassis yet.
Chassis fitted, still missing some detail pieces. Fitting the chassis required shortening the axels considerably and using spacers in the rear of the chassis to keep tires from touching the body. So actually the rear of the car is way too high compared to a real Saab, but it will have to do. Well, it isn't a speed monster, but runs nice on my way old track... Work in progress... |
