An ongoing project of getting the older style hubcaps for the V4 restored:
This is a major operation, as the hubcaps have been sanded and painted
earlier.
The first thing I did was remove the paint with paintremover to avoid
further damage.
The best bit is, that the hubcaps are made of stainless steel, so no
chrome removal/rechroming is necessary.
I have full set of four hubcaps, but they all need some dents removed
before I can get to polishing them. I expect it to be a major job.
The hubcap project is currently on hold, as there are some more urgent things I have to do.
